
BENGALURU:
Karnataka recorded 10 new coronavirus positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s total count to 418, including 17 deaths and 129 discharges. Vijayapura, Kalaburagi and Mysuru reported more cases.
As per the bulletin of the health department, 3 positive cases were from Vijayapura, 3 from Kalaburagi, 2 from Nanjangud, and 1 each from Dakshina Kannada and Belagavi. As per the bulletin, most of the cases reported on Tuesday are contacts of previous patients, and 2 are suffering from SARI and one from ILI.
In some relief for Bengaluru city, no fresh case has been reported in the last 3 days. According to health officials, so far 89 people have tested positive in Bengaluru, of whom 48 have been discharged, four have died, and 37 are still under treatment. Meanwhile, in Mysuru, out of 86 positive cases 33 have been discharged. A total of 26,233 samples have been tested across Karnataka so far.
