Task force to frame road map on schools’ reopening: Suresh Kumar

The Second PU exam results will be out by the second week of July, Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar said on Monday. Addressing the media, the Minister said students who are not happy with the results can take the exams to be held later.
The Minister said the government will air online classes through Doordarshan’s Chandana programme, which will also be uploaded on the Deeksha portal for students who have missed the live streaming of the lessons.

To a question on reopening of schools, he said a task force will be set up to suggest a road map on the reopening of schools. The task force will comprise subject experts, members of the Technical Advisory Committee on Covid-19, and child specialists.
Kumar further said he would soon announce a teacher-friendly transfer policy.
