Chikkamagalur girl comes 71st
BENGALURU:
The Union Public Service Commission’s 2019 examination results were announced on Friday. More than 37 candidates from across the state have been selected for the central services this year.

Yashaswini B, a resident of Gubbihalli in Kadur taluk of Chikkamagalur district, has secured the 71st rank. She is the daughter of a high school headmaster.

Darshan, a native of Haralakatte in Hassan district, has secured the 594th rank. As per sources he completed his education in the Kannada medium. He has worked with Infosys. A mechanical engineer, he also runs a coaching centre for UPSC aspirants.
Four successful aspirants from Belagavi district are all from rural areas. Jagadeesh Adahalli hails from Athani and ranks 440. He is serving as an assistant commissioner.

Priyanka Kamble from Chikodi in Belagavi district ranks 670, Praful Desai from Yaranal village in Hukkeri taluk of Belagavi district ranks 532 and Gajanan Bale from Kudachi near Raibag ranks 663. Further, Anand Kaladagi, a former student of Karnataka Law Society’s GIT Engineering College, has ranked 446.
