BENGALURU:
The state government has released a list of private hospitals where Covid-19 patients will be treated as per government guidelines.
Additional Chief Secretary Jawaid Akhtar (Health) has ordered that private hospitals empanelled with the Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust (SAST) under the ABArK scheme be notified for treatment of Covid-19 patients.

A total of 518 private medical colleges/hospitals throughout the state are empanelled under ABArK. Of these, Bengaluru has 44.
The list of empanelled hospitals is available on the SAST website http://www.arogya.karnataka.gov.in and the Health department’s website http://karunadu.karnataka.gov.in/hfw/home.aspx Information is also available on toll-free helpline 1800 425 2646.
The hospitals will be paid a government-fixed rate for Covid management, Akhtar stated.
