BENGALURU:
In a tragic incident, a 6-year-old girl fell into a storm water drain and was washed away near Bellandur on the city’s outskirts on Friday.
The parents of the girl, identified as Dolly, hail from Assam and live in a migrant workers’ camp near Kaliyammanagar in Bellandur.

According to sources, the girl was playing very close to the drain when the mishap occurred around 2 pm.
Teams of fire fighters from Sarjapur and Mahadevapura arrived at the spot and conducted a search for the girl. The Marathahalli police too joined in the search operations.
