Oil India Limited (OIL) has announced a groundbreaking energy initiative at the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit, with the establishment of a bamboo feedstock-based second-generation (2G) ethanol plant at Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL). This pioneering project was highlighted by OIL’s Chairman and Managing Director, Dr. Ranjit Rath, who emphasized its alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for import substitution and energy self-reliance.
