
Civic chief issues certificate of appreciation to 88 of the 4,000 Covid warriors in Bengaluru
BENGALURU:
Of the 4,000 registered Covid warriors, 88 received certificates of appreciation from BBMP Commissioner N Manjunatha Prasad on Wednesday.
“It is not an easy task to come forward and work as a volunteer. I would like to thank them for helping officials during these difficult times,” the BBMP chief said. He added, “The battle of Covid has just begun, and it is unknown how many days it will last. To win this war, everyone has to work together. Your hard work and service as Covid warriors is appreciated.”

Additional Commissioner (Administration) J Manjunath said, “During critical times such as Covid, home quarantine squad teams were formed to ensure that travellers coming to the state abided by home quarantine.”
Neighborhood support teams now comprise more than 26,000 people across the city,
Principal Secretary (Animal Husbandry) P Manivannan and other officials were present on the occasion.
