
Bengaluru: In one of the city’s biggest drug busts this year, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) police arrested seven accused, including two foreign nationals, and seized narcotics worth ₹9.93 crore, City Police Commissioner Sewanth Kumar Singh confirmed.
The seizure included 3.858 kg of MDMA crystals, 41 grams of Ecstasy pills, 1.082 kg of hydro-ganga, and 6 kg of ganja, along with one car and one two-wheeler used in the crime.
In Mahadevapura limits, CCB nabbed Kevin Roger, a software engineer, who allegedly procured hydro-ganga from Kerala at lower prices and sold it to contacts in Bengaluru to fund his lavish lifestyle. Police recovered 500 grams of hydro-ganga, one car, one bike, and a mobile phone from him.
In a separate case, Adugodi police arrested Ranjith Antony, a dental college student, who was allegedly supplying narcotics for easy money and luxury. From him, 300 grams of hydro-ganga was seized.
Further, KG Nagar police intercepted a parcel containing narcotics worth ₹1 crore, which had arrived through a foreign post office. The parcel, booked under a suspect’s name, was found to contain 1.022 kg of hydro-ganga and other substances.
Meanwhile, Hebbagodi police arrested two Nigerian nationals, Ngwu Kingsley and Thomas Naveed Chime, who allegedly sourced drugs from fellow foreign nationals based in Delhi and sold them in Bengaluru.
Police revealed that one of the arrested foreigners was also wanted in Gujarat for two cybercrime cases, and had jumped bail before resuming drug peddling activities in Bengaluru two months ago.

Commissioner Singh stated that in total, seven people, including two foreigners, were arrested, and narcotics worth nearly ₹10 crore were seized, adding that investigations into their wider network are underway.
