Bengaluru: Civic inspections and review meetings were carried out across the city on Friday as City Corporation Commissioners of Bengaluru North, South, East, West, and Central undertook early morning visits to mustering centers, garbage black spots, and major civic works.
Bengaluru North City Corporation Commissioner’s Inspection

Bengaluru North City Corporation Commissioner Pommalu Sunil Kumar visited the Yelahanka Satellite Ward auto-tipper mustering center and Thindlu Ward pourakarmika mustering center at 6 am. He reviewed attendance, waste disposal practices, and directed that pourakarmikas must clean not only roadsides but also shoulder drains and footpaths.
He instructed bulk waste generators to ensure compliance, warned shopkeepers to maintain cleanliness, and ordered penalties for violations. The Commissioner also conducted a 2 km foot march inspection. Joint Commissioner Mohammed Naeem Momin and other officials were present.
Bengaluru South City Corporation Commissioner’s Inspection

Bengaluru South City Corporation Commissioner K.N. Ramesh inspected mustering centers and garbage black spots in Jayanagar Ward at 6 am. He emphasized mass sanitation drives, immediate repair of damaged footpath slabs, and maintaining cleanliness near Jayanagar Shopping Complex. He also interacted with residents and assured timely redressal of civic issues.
Bengaluru West City Corporation Commissioner’s Inspection

Bengaluru West City Corporation Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K.V. inspected areas including Havanur Circle, Basaveshwaranagar, Siddayya Puranik Road, and 8th B Main Road with officials.

He directed cleanliness at mustering centers, fogging for mosquito control at Netaji Subhash Chandra Park, and quality improvements at Indira Canteen. He instructed removal of dangling OFC cables on roadsides, checking trade licenses, and regular desilting of stormwater drains. Joint Commissioner Sangappa and other officials accompanied the visit.
Bengaluru East City Corporation Commissioner’s Inspection

Bengaluru East City Corporation Commissioner Ramesh D.S. conducted an extensive inspection from 6 am to 2 pm covering Iblur Junction, Wipro, Sunny Brooks, Doddanekundi Road, Panathur, Balagere, Varthur Kodi Bridge, and Sai Layout.
He ordered completion of desilting works to prevent flooding, widening of CDP Road from Sarjapur to Varthur State Highway, and requested a meeting with the Forest Department for necessary land transfer. He also inspected Panathur underpass drainage works, RCC wall construction at Balagere Rajakaluve, and road-widening projects. Additional Commissioner (Development) Lokhande Snehal Sudhakar, Joint Commissioner Dakshayini, and engineers were present.
Bengaluru Central City Corporation Commissioner’s Review Meeting

Bengaluru Central City Corporation Commissioner Rajendra Cholan held a review meeting at the corporation office with engineers and officials from revenue, works, finance, health, and electrical departments.
He directed them to expedite tax collection, eliminate black spots, repair potholes, ensure streetlight maintenance, and strengthen sanitation drives. Cholan emphasized that each officer must take full responsibility and work with renewed energy every day. Joint Commissioner Ranganath, Deputy Commissioner Raju, and Chief Engineers Suguna and Vijaykumar Haridas were also present.
