
Attestation Ceremony Held at Bengaluru’s Army Service Corps Centre (North)
BENGALURU:
Agnipath Scheme was launched by the Government of India on 14 Jun 2022 for recruitment of soldiers into the three services of the Armed Forces. As part of this scheme, 113 Agniveers of first batch were trained at Army Service Corps Centre (North).
Army Service Corps Centre (North) is a premier institute imparting training to Animal and Store handlers, Mechanical Transport Drivers and various Tradesmen to support all Army Service Corps units for the complete Indian Army. The training of first batch of Agniveer’s commenced from 01 Jan 2023, out of which 12 Agniveers (Tradesmen) passed out on 17 Jun 2023.

Brigadier Tejpal Mann, Centre Commandant, Army Service Corps Centre (North)- 1 ATC reviewed an impressive attestation ceremony in which Agniveers passed out after completion of their training. In his address, he urged the young soldiers to imbibe soldierly ethos of “Imandari, Wafadari and Bahaduri”.
The magnificent ceremony was attended by proud parents of Agniveers.


All the parents were honoured with the prestigious “Gaurav Padak” instituted by the Indian Army as a token of recognition of their noble gesture of encouraging their ward to join the countless braves of the Indian Army in service of the nation.
