On Wednesday morning, a car carrying five students from a private institution that hit a mound and collided with a wayside tree on the way to class had a lucky escape.
One of the five kids who were in the car had a critical injury, and the rest only sustained minor ones.
According to reports, the students were enrolled in an LLB programme when the tragedy happened on the main Anekal-Chandapura route close to the Karpur Gate on the outskirts of the city.
The car was allegedly travelling at a high pace. Locals assisted in transporting the hurt students to the hospital. The students were going in a Toyota Etios that had a Kerala registration number.
After visiting the scene, the Anekal police opened a case.
