Bengaluru: The Atul Subhash suicide case has taken a new turn as Bengaluru Police have arrested his wife from Gurgaon, along with her mother and brother from Allahabad. They stand accused of demanding Rs 3 crore to drop cases against Atul and Rs 30 lakh for visitation rights to see his son.
According to a senior police officer, Nikita was apprehended in Gurugram, while her mother Nisha and brother Anurag were taken into custody in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The accused were presented before the court and have been remanded to judicial custody.
The arrests were made after Bengaluru Police sought assistance from their counterparts in Uttar Pradesh to locate the suspects in the case.
Atul Subhash, a resident of Munnekollal, was discovered deceased in his apartment on Monday. Following this tragic event, his brother Bikas Kumar lodged a complaint against Subhash’s wife Nikita, her mother Nisha, brother Anurag, and uncle Sushil Singhania.
