Bengaluru: As the Silicon City prepares to welcome the New Year, the Bengaluru City Police has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring peaceful and safe celebrations across the city.
On Wednesday, Seemant Kumar Singh, Commissioner of Police, personally inspected security arrangements across key locations in Bengaluru, reviewing crowd management plans, traffic regulation measures, and emergency response readiness.

Police officials said comprehensive safety protocols have been put in place citywide, with heightened deployment of personnel, increased surveillance, and coordinated monitoring at major public gathering points to prevent untoward incidents.
Call for Responsible Celebration
The Bengaluru City Police appealed to citizens to strictly follow police advisories, cooperate with on-ground personnel, and celebrate the New Year responsibly and lawfully.
Officials stressed that maintaining peace and public safety is a shared responsibility, and urged residents and visitors to partner with the police in ensuring that the New Year is welcomed without accidents, disturbances, or law-and-order issues.
