BENGALURU: In a heartbreaking incident this morning on Nirja Road in Anekal town, a young SSLC student lost his life after being struck by a private bus while riding his scooter. The victim, who was set to take an exam tomorrow, tragically met his untimely demise.
The student, identified as Shabad, had ventured out on his scooter to purchase milk around 7 am when a bus owned by Strides Company fatally collided with him. Shabad was on his way back from Shivaji Circle to Devarakondappa Circle when the bus struck him, resulting in his immediate death.


This devastating incident adds to a string of recent accidents in Anekal city, including the recent loss of a Forest Department employee in a tipper accident and the death of a 16-year-old youth in a tractor collision. Local residents have expressed concerns over the reckless behavior of drivers, citing instances of distracted driving and speeding as leading causes of these tragic accidents.
