Bengaluru: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Bengaluru Urban Development Minister D.K. Shivakumar has announced that over 10 lakh properties in Bengaluru have been scanned as part of the ongoing e-Khata initiative, and a large-scale distribution programme has been scheduled for the third Sunday of April.
Addressing the media at the GBA office, Shivakumar said that e-Khata certificates will be issued to citizens in a single-day programme planned for April’s third Sunday.
He further stated that the process of converting B Khata properties to A Khata has commenced across the city. Revenue officials are conducting field inspections before approving the Khata conversion.
“All layouts developed on revenue lands have now been brought under municipal roads,” he added, indicating that several such roads have been officially recognized as BBMP roads.
The initiative is aimed at streamlining property records, enhancing transparency, and providing legal clarity to property owners across Bengaluru.
