Triaging will also be done for Covid cases at Haj Bhavan: Revenue Minister Ashoka

Of the 400 beds at the Covid Care Centre (CCC) at Haj Bhavan in the city, 100 have been converted into oxygen beds. This will be followed by 50 HDU and 50 ICU beds. Addressing the media after inaugurating the facility on Saturday, Revenue Minister R Ashoka said this would be beneficial to residents of the area.
The Haj Bhavan CCC has 8 doctors, 12 nurses, 12 house-keeping staff and a data operator, as well as 2 ambulances on standby. Triaging will also be done here for Covid-positive cases.

The facility at Haj Bhavan in Bytarayanapura and another in Thanisandra were inaugurated by Revenue Minister R Ashoka. Among those present were SR Vishwanath, BDA chairman, MLA Krishna Byregowda, Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commissioner of BBMP, Revenue Secretary N Manjunatha Prasad, IAS officers Captain Manivannan, Anbu Kumar, Bengaluru Urban Deputy Commissioner J Manjunath, Haj Bhavan executive officer Sarfaraz Khan and Joint Commissioner Dr Ashok.
