Molin Kumar Chakma, a leader from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), successfully proved his majority support by winning a floor test in the Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC), an official revealed. The CADC council convened following a notification by the district’s minority affairs department, which required a confidence vote within 30 days of Chakma’s appointment as Chief Executive Member (CEM).
