In the face of rumours and fake news about the pandemic, Additional Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh on Saturday appealed to the public to obtain correct information by visiting the official website of the government, http://covid19.karnataka.gov.in
Dr Rajneesh dismissed allegations of poor patients being overcharged, saying the majority of Covid-19 tests were under the purview of government organisations like Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Kidwai Memorial Institute and National Institute of Mental Health and Neuroscience (NIMHANS). She added that the test reports of these institutions are very reliable.
