Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday lauded the state’s police force for curbing unethical policing practices, calling it a “significant step towards restoring constitutional integrity and public trust.” He said the credit for this achievement belongs to the police department for upholding professionalism and discipline.

“Unethical policing, which had become a blot on the state’s dignity and progress, has now been effectively curbed. The credit goes to our police department for ensuring ethical governance. The crackdown on the drug menace is also commendable, and efforts must continue with even greater vigilance,” Siddaramaiah said.
Highlighting the government’s commitment to protecting marginalized communities, the Chief Minister said:
