Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, during his inspection rounds, came down heavily on civic engineers after spotting negligence in solid waste management and road maintenance.
At Ward No. 23’s solid waste collection center, Siddaramaiah noticed that garbage, which was supposed to be stored inside, had piled up outside despite ample vacant space inside the facility. Taking serious note of the lapse, he directed that a notice be issued to Chief Engineer Raghavendra Prasad (BSWML) for failing to ensure proper storage of waste.

Further along the route, the CM also observed jelly stones scattered on the road, posing a danger to commuters. Holding officials accountable, Siddaramaiah instructed that another notice be served to Chief Engineer BS Prahlad (B.Smile Director) for negligence in road safety and maintenance.
