BENGALURU:
Even as heavy rains continue to batter North Karnataka, Malnad and the coastal areas of the state, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa will undertake an aerial survey on Tuesday to assess the situation.
The CM will fly from HAL airport to Belagavi at 9 am and will hold a meeting with ministers, legislators and officials of Belagavi and Dharwad districts at 10.30 am.
At 11.15 am, he will board an army chopper for an aerial survey of Belagavi, Vijayapura and Bagalkot districts. He will then visit the Alamatti reservoir.
The CM will undertake a second survey at 2.30 pm and will return to Bengaluru at 5 pm. Revenue Minister R Ashoka, Chief Secretary TM Vijay Bhaskar will accompany the CM.
