Complaint alleges her mother abetted rape by drugging her
BENGALURU:
The Hulimavu police are on the lookout for a man who is accused of drugging and raping his stepdaughter. In her complaint, the 20-year-old college student has alleged that her mother used to facilitate the act.
The accused has been identified as Alexander Das, a resident of Samrat Layout, Arekere.
The girl’s mother had divorced her husband years ago and had married Das, who was working as a supervisor with a construction company. The complainant says she was living with her mother and stepfather in Arekere.
The girl has alleged that her mother used to drug her with sleeping pills, after which her stepfather would rape her. She has alleged that he stopped her from going to college, and insisted on taking nude photos of her. He also allegedly threatened her with harm if she spoke about it to anyone.
In her complaint, she said she fears for her life and has sought police protection.
