If there is a prize for the most unsanitary government hospital in the state, it should go to the designated Covid hospital in Kalaburagi district. A video that has gone viral shows pigs moving around in the hospital corridors.
Incidentally, Kalaburagi gained early notoriety for recording the first Covid death in the entire country. Now, it seems a family of free-roaming ‘hospital pigs’ is giving the district a bad name all over again.
