Plasma transport costs to Karnataka will be borne by Czechoslovakia
BENGALURU:
Alongside aid from other Western countries, Czechoslovakia has offered 500 plasma units to Covid-hit Karnataka.
The Czech Republic’s Consul in Bengaluru CS Prakash called on Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa in this connection on Saturday.
ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ, ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಮಾವನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ವಿನಂತಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Prakash said the plasma cargo has been kept in the Central Military Hospital, Prague, and all the costs of maintainance and transport to Karnataka will be borne by Czechoslovakia.
Karnataka’s Special Representative in Delhi, Shankaragouda Patil, was present on the occasion.
