Bengaluru, February 4: In a public safety advisory, the Bengaluru Central City Corporation has urged citizens to promptly report dry trees and dangerous branches found within its jurisdiction, particularly along roadsides and government lands.
According to officials, the Forest Department has already begun clearing identified dry and hazardous trees across central Bengaluru as a preventive measure to avoid accidents, especially ahead of changing weather conditions.
Residents who notice dry trees, weak branches, or potentially dangerous overhanging limbs are requested to report them immediately by calling the civic helpline 1533. Complaints can also be registered via phone or WhatsApp at 7760933913 or 9164597895.
Citizens are encouraged to share GPS-enabled photographs along with precise location details to enable quicker response by field officials.
