Narayan lauds umbrella body BAF for taking up various civic matters
BENGALURU:
Observing that more and more Bengalureans will be living in apartments in the future, Deputy Chief Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan has called on apartment dwellers to take a greater part in the development of the city.
He was virtually addressing ‘BAMBOOS’, organized by the Bangalore Apartments Federation (BAF), on Saturday. The two-day event has ‘Responsible, Responsive and Resilient Apartment Communities’ as its theme.
Narayan noted that around 10 lakh people stay in BAF communities, and that BAF has been actively involved in issues like waste water treatment, property documents, tariffs for essential services, and simplifying rules and regulations for apartment associations.

BAF office-bearers including Nagaraja Rao, General Secretary, Vikram Rai, Joint Secretary, Vidya Goggi, Vice-President, and Arun Kumar were present on the occasion.
