As of January 2025, the Jammu and Kashmir government has announced that more than 3.70 lakh unemployed youth have signed up on the official employment portal. Among them are 1.13 lakh graduates and post-graduates, highlighting a significant portion of educated individuals seeking job opportunities in the Union Territory (UT).
