Arnab Goswami channel considering legal action against those who ‘amplified’ TRP allegations
BENGALURU/MUMBAI:
Following a recent statement by Mumbai ex-police officer Sachin Vaze, who was handling the TRP case against Arnab Goswami’s Republic TV channel, the channel in a press release has said that the case against Republic TV was ‘false, concocted, fabricated and malicious’.
In statements before the Enforcement Directorate in June and July, Vaze reportedly said he was acting under the instructions of former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.

Goswami arrest was ‘planned’
Vaze also reportedly made a statement that he had been given clear political instructions to arrest of Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-Chief of Republic Media.

The press release says Republic Media Network is considering legal options against all those who participated and were complicit in the conspiracy and amplification of the fabrications.
