The statue of Kodandarama, gifted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has a Karnataka connection. The statue was presented to the PM on his arrival for the Bhoomi Pooja of the Ram Mandir on Wednesday.
On his Twitter handle, Bengaluru Central MP PC Mohan mentioned that the statue was designed by Ramamurthy of Kengeri in Bengaluru. In his tweet, the MP shared the photo of the UP Chief Minister presenting the statue to the PM, as well as the picture of its creator.
