Former Punjab chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Friday appeared before the Vigilance Bureau in connection with a disproportionate assets matter and was questioned for several hours by the officials. The Congress leader slammed the Bhagwant Mann-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government as the former chief minister was called by the Vigilance Bureau on the holiday when the entire state is celebrating Baisakhi and accused Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s government of indulging in "vendetta politics".
