In a gesture that might ease maritime tensions, Pakistani authorities have released 22 Indian fishermen from the Malir Jail in Karachi. They were freed after completing their sentences, according to a report from The Express Tribune, which quoted Malir Jail superintendent Arshad Shah. The fishermen are expected to return to India on Saturday.
