A senior official from the Income Tax department has revealed that investigators have seized more than Rs 98 crore in cash during raids on multiple individuals in Karnataka.
The I-T Department officials conducted searches at various offices, including Rajajinagar, Sahakarnagar and Sanjaynagar, accusing the individuals of tax evasion. Numerous documents were confiscated during the raids.
Based on leads obtained from the two firms, I-T officials proceeded to search the homes and other premises of contractors and various other individuals.
