Income Tax raid on Karnataka Congress candidate’s kin in Mysuru; Rs 1 crore hidden on tree, seized
BENGALURU/MYSURU:
The Income Tax department raided Congress Puttur candidate Ashok Kumar Rai’s brother Subrahmanya Rai’s residence in Mysuru. The officials have seized Rs 1 crore cash hidden in boxes on a tree.
The IT sleuths are yet to reveal the exact amount seized during the raid.
