India and Pakistan are scheduled to convene a flag meeting on Friday, in response to escalating tensions along the Line of Control (LoC). This meeting follows several cross-border firing incidents and an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack that resulted in the death of two Indian army personnel, including a captain, in the Akhnoor sector of Jammu.
