Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Safran Electronics & Defense of France have inked a deal to jointly manufacture and maintain the HAMMER weapon system in India. This initiative is set to bolster India’s defense prowess and advance the Atmanirbhar Bharat drive aimed at minimizing import reliance.
