Bhaskar Rao gets pat from Home Minister, DGP
BENGALURU:
Subsequent to former city police commissioner Bhaskar Rao’s transfer as ADGP, Internal Security, the first-ever case has been registered at the 7-year-old Internal Security police station.
On Tuesday, Rao tweeted: “Internal Security Division was made a police station in 2013 but never activated. On 5 August, the first case under the Narcotics Act registered and arrests made. Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai and state DGP have appreciated. It has statewide jurisdiction and augments specialized agencies.”
