Karnataka Bank Clinches Multiple IBA Tech Awards for Fintech, Talent and Digital Banking Excellence

Bengaluru: Karnataka Bank has been honoured with multiple prestigious accolades at the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) Banking Technology Awards, underscoring the Bank’s strong performance in technology adoption, fintech integration, and digital innovation.

The Bank emerged as the Winner in the ‘Best Fintech & DPI Adoption’ category, highlighting its focused efforts in leveraging Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and fintech-led solutions to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

In addition, Karnataka Bank was adjudged Runner-up in the ‘Best Tech Talent’ category and received Special Mentions in several key segments, including Best Technology Bank, Best Digital Financial Inclusion, and Best Digital Sales—further cementing its position as a digitally progressive banking institution.

Reacting to the achievement, Raghavendra S. Bhat, Managing Director & CEO of Karnataka Bank, said the recognitions reflect the collective efforts of the Bank’s IT and business teams in driving innovation and nurturing technology talent.

“We are proud to receive these recognitions from the Indian Banks’ Association. These awards validate our continued focus on digital innovation, talent development, and customer-centric banking solutions,” he said.

He added that the Bank remains committed to strengthening its digital capabilities and aligning technology-driven initiatives with the evolving needs of customers and the financial ecosystem.

The multiple honours at the Indian Banks’ Association Banking Technology Awards reaffirm Karnataka Bank’s stature as a forward-looking institution focused on innovation, inclusion, and technology-led growth in India’s banking sector.
