Karnataka Chief Minister announces night curfew across state from 9pm

Weekend curfew will be imposed around Maharashtra and Kerala border districts

BENGALURU:

Amid surge in Covid-19 cases in neighbouring Kerala and Maharahstra states, the Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai announced night curfew across the state from 9 pm till further orders.

The announcement came after he chaired a meeting with experts on Friday morning.

He said that border districts around Maharashtra and Kerala will see a weekend curfew.
