BENGALURU:
Despite the number of Covid- infected patients in Karnataka drastically increasing everyday, the recovery rate too has improved. On Monday, the state reported 6,317 positive cases as against 7,071 discharges, taking the recovery rate to 63.68%.
As per Medical Education Minister Dr K Sudhakar, Karnataka’s mortality rate has also improved along with the recovery rate. In Bengaluru too, the recovery rate has shoot up with a large number of discharges in the last 24 hours.
Bengaluru reported 2,053 positive cases on Monday while 2,190 patients were discharged from hospitals in the tech city. The city now has a recovery rate of 60.93%. It has 34,408 active cases out of the state’s tally of 80,643 active cases.
