BENGALURU:
Karnataka is doing much better than WHO guidelines by  conducting 297 tests per day per million people, according to Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar.
In what is seen as a counter to the Congress accusing the government of failing to curb the pandemic, the minister claimed that Karnataka was among the top 10 states and Union territories in terms of testing. Â
He tweeted: “WHO recommends 140 tests/day/million population. Karnataka is conducting 297 tests/day/million & is among top 10 states/UTs conducting 140 tests or more.”
