Govt order says cops will allow travel by 18-44 age group only on display of vaccination SMS
BENGALURU:
As Karnataka and Bengaluru enter the extended Covid curfew phase from 6 am on Monday, May 10, the government has clarified that the police will allow travel for vaccination purposes only for those in the 18-44 age group who have received confirmation SMSes on their cellphones.
State is initiaitng COVID 19 vaccinaion for the beneficiaries aged 18 to 44 years in SELECT SITES.Vaccination for this age group will be done for ONLINE REGISTERED BENEFICIARIES ONLY.

The Karnataka government plans to speed up the vaccination drive for the 18-44 years age group from Monday.
The state Health Department in a message sent to media houses said: “The state is initiating Covid-19 vaccination for beneficiaries aged 18 to 44 years in select sites from tomorrow (Monday). Vaccination for this age group will be done for online registered beneficiaries only. The police will allow only those who have confirmation SMSes received for the scheduled vaccination.”
