BENGALURU:
Even as Karnataka has clocked 7,000+ Covid cases daily in the last three days, the heartening fact is that the recovery rate too has climbed to 62.34%. On Sunday, the state witnessed 7,040 fresh infections while it recorded 6,683 discharges, along with 124 deaths.
Bengaluru ‘better’
The recovery rate has also improved in the state capital, with Bengaluru reporting 2,359 discharges to 2,131 positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the recovery rate to 59.89%. The city saw 49 deaths on Sunday. Bengaluru now has 34,583 active cases as against 83,191 active cases statewide.


Karnataka crossed 20 lakh tests today. So far we conducted 20,37,386 tests across 100 labs in the state. 7,040 cases were reported in the state today & 6,683 recoveries. 2,131 new cases reported in Bengaluru & 2,359 recoveries.
