Belagavi / Bengaluru: In a series of striking astrological observations, Kodimath Sri has predicted a period of political uncertainty and difficulty, cautioning that any transfer or consolidation of power will not be easy in the coming months.
Speaking on the evolving political and social situation, the seer said that while many people continue to hold hopes and expectations, the present phase is marked by instability, making precise predictions difficult at this stage.
Sankranti and Ugadi Are Key
Kodimath Sri explained that astrological outcomes differ between Sankranti and Ugadi, as they are based on different planetary considerations — the Sun’s transition during Sankranti and the Moon’s movement during Ugadi.
“This Sankranti is significant because the Sun moves toward Uttarayana. Such transitions have a strong impact on rulers, administrators, large traders, and working communities,” he said.
He added that clearer predictions about governance, finances, and political authority can only be made after Sankranti and the Union Budget, while agriculture, rainfall, and public life become clearer only after Ugadi.
Warning of a Tougher Phase Ahead
Referring to the coming year, Kodimath Sri warned that 2026 could be more challenging than the present year, noting that recent months have already seen bitter and distressing incidents affecting many people.
“Compared to what we have seen so far, the coming phase could be even more difficult. I have already indicated signs suggesting widespread global distress,” he said, adding that nearly 80 per cent of the world may face serious strain, according to astrological indications.
Political Power Struggles
On the political front, the seer reiterated his earlier statements that retaining or reclaiming power will be difficult, unless specific planetary alignments turn favourable after key milestones such as Sankranti and major budgetary decisions.
“There is uncertainty. If conditions align, opportunities may arise. Otherwise, the struggle to regain authority will continue,” he observed.

He also hinted at pressure at the national level, suggesting that the central political structure may face challenges, as he had earlier alluded to symbolic signs involving the “palace” and the “ruler.”
Gold Prices and Public Concerns
Responding to questions on the rising gold prices, Kodimath Sri remarked that the issue required a detailed explanation and was closely linked to broader economic and planetary factors, adding that it was not possible to elaborate within limited time.
Overall Outlook
Summing up, the seer said the current phase is one of transition, and urged people not to jump to conclusions until Sankranti passes, budgets are presented, and Ugadi follows, after which the true direction of politics, economy, and public life would become clearer.
