KOLAR:
A 43-year-old woman has become the first Covid casualty in Kolar district.
P8495, who died in a hospital in Friday, hailed from KGF taluk’s Thukalu village. Ghe had come to the village from Delhi to attend a wedding a few days ago. She was admitted to Jalappa Hospital in Kolar following a cough and fever.
KGF tahsildar Ramesh said the woman did not respond to treatment.
Kolar has recorded 81 cases, of whom 14 are reportedly medical staff of Jalappa Hospital.
