Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) on Wednesday announced the final results of the re-examination conducted for recruitment to 622 posts in Karnataka Power Corporation Limited (KPCL).
The re-examination was held on December 27 and 28, following directions issued by the Supreme Court of India. With the declaration of the final results, the entire examination process has now been completed.
KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna said that the merit list based on candidates’ scores will be handed over to KPCL shortly, after which the corporation will publish the final selection list.

He clarified that the final results were announced after a subject-expert committee examined objections raised against the provisional results. In compliance with the court’s directive, KEA ensured a time-bound process by releasing the provisional results within eight days of the examination and the final results within ten days.
Candidates are advised to await further announcements from KPCL regarding the publication of the selection list and next stages of appointment.
