TUMAKURU/BENGALURU:
The Forest Department has successfully captured a leopard that had viciously attacked a young girl while she was playing in her house compound two days ago in Chikkabellavi.
In response to the incident, concerned villagers had urgently appealed to the Forest officials to apprehend the dangerous leopard. Consequently, a strategically positioned cage was set up near a poultry farm just outside the village.
On Saturday morning, the 3-4-year-old leopard was successfully trapped within the cage. This particular leopard had wreaked havoc in Bellavi and the surrounding villages.
