Bengaluru: The BJP’s cultural initiative ‘Maasada Maadhurya’ marked its 100th-month celebration with a valedictory program held at the Sri Krishnadevaraya auditorium of the Telugu Science Committee, Malleshwaram, on Thursday evening. The event was jointly organized by the Jagannath Balaga and the BJP’s Cultural Cell.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santosh said the program was launched with the aim of making Jagannath Bhavan a hub for community engagement and cultural activity. He praised leaders Ganesh Yaji and Dattaguru Hegde for standing firmly with the initiative, describing the 100-month continuity of the program as a disciplined vow.

Santosh noted that the location of Jagannath Bhavan is spiritually significant and enriched with food corners and public spaces that help connect the community. He emphasized that “Maasada Maadhurya has nurtured refined cultural taste among people.” He also highlighted the Bhavan’s open-door approach, welcoming even police and local residents during community fairs, and said that despite being modest in size compared to offices in other states, Jagannath Bhavan offers a warm and artistic atmosphere due to its cultural activities.

Former state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel also addressed the gathering, calling dance and music the essence of Hindu culture. “Even our deities are known to be drawn to music and dance, which is why these art forms are woven into divine rituals. Indian music has the power to blossom human minds,” he said.
Other prominent attendees included former Deputy Chief Minister and MLA Dr. C.N. Ashwath Narayan, Legislative Council Chief Whip N. Ravikumar, state vice-president Malavika Avinash, state treasurer Subbanarasimha, former MLA N.L. Narendra Babu, program convener Dattaguru Hegde, state cultural convener Roopa Iyer, along with several BJP leaders and party workers.
