Despite warning by officials Manoj Kumar Meena and Mohammad Mohsin, the hospital failed to provide 50% Covid beds
BENGALURU:
In another case of a private hospital facing the music for failing to reserve 50% of its beds for Covid patients, BBMP officials sealed the OPD of Mahaveer Jain Hospital on Millers Road on Tuesday.
This follows a warning to the hospital on Monday by senior officials Manoj Kumar Meena and Mohamed Mohsin.
As per the 50% rule, Mahaveer Jain Hospital had to provide 75 beds but handed over only 15 beds.
The officers have also warned the management to treat patients sent by BBMP properly or face penal action.
