Mandya MP Sumalatha Ambareesh has been infected by the coronavirus.
Her Facebook post in Kannada reads: “On Saturday, July 4th, I had a slight headache and sore throat. As I was constantly working on my fieldwork and visiting corona-affected areas. I went through Covid-19 test. The result has been positive today. So I consulted the doctor and got the necessary treatment. I have gone under Home Quarantine.”
