BENGALURU:
Pulakeshinagar Congress MLA Akhanda Srinivas Murthy met Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Monday evening at the CM’s official residence and repeated his demand for a CBI probe into the riot-related burning down of his house.
According to Murthy, the CM said he would take a call after he receives the investigation report. Murthy was accompanied by senior BJP MLA Arvind Limbavali.

Later, Murthy told reporters that he was not quitting the Congress. “My father was also in the Congress and the Congress is in my blood, and hence I am not leaving the party,” he said.
Murthy also demanded enhanced security for himself as he feels there is a threat to his life.
